Maurepas Pipeline
Louisiana
Project management, engineering, procurement, environmental permitting, and construction services for three (3) pipelines: a 34-mile, 6-inch olefins pipeline; a 36-mile, 12-inch vacuum gas oil (VGO) pipeline with skin effect heat trace; and a 34-mile, 24-inch crude oil pipeline. The 12-inch and 24- inch pipelines were concrete coated in situ for buoyancy.
The pipelines traverse parts of St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, and Ascension Parishes in Louisiana and serve to connect the Convent refinery, the Norco refinery, and the LOCAP crude oil terminal. The project also included three (3) new pump stations and receipt stations.
