KAAPA CO2 Carbon Capture Project
Ravenna, Nebraska
Civil, mechanical, structural, electrical and instrumentation construction services for a CO2 Capture Facility in Nebraska where CO2 is captured from an existing KAAPA Ethanol Plant CO2 scrubber by installing a new blower, duct piping and associated scrubbers.
The ethanol plant CO2 exhaust is then routed to the nearby Capture Facility location where Compressor(s), Vessels / Filtration, TEG Dehydration, Air Compressor, PDC Building, Transformers, Water Filtration Skid, Tanks (Lube Oil, Wastewater, Skim Oil) and Pumps were installed to process the low-pressure CO2 gas into a high-pressure CO2 liquid.
The Capture Facility discharge piping then connects to a Custody Transfer Skid (with Building), and a piping connection to a new takeaway Tallgrass Energy CO2 pipeline.
