Aquila Eagle Mountain Power Generation Facility

The Williams Companies is supplying “behind-the-meter” power for Meta’s Eagle Mountain data center campus that is being expanded near Salt Lake City, Utah via a 286 MW natural gas power generation facility. The project required a “speed to market” approach utilizing modular trailer mounted natural gas turbines and generators along with helical pile utilization wherever practical.
QISG performed project management services and utilized Quanta sister companies, Flint, Flare, and Mears to provide construction installation services. Flint performed structural concrete and mechanical equipment installation, Flare performed civil grading and excavation, and Mears performed mechanical piping as well as electrical and instrumentation.
