LEG Compressor Stations

LEG Compressor Stations

Louisiana

Civil, mechanical, structural, electrical and instrumentation construction services for two (2) modular compressor stations as part of the Williams’ LEG (Louisiana Energy Gateway) Program; Juniper Compressor Station in Sabine, Louisiana and Texana Compressor Station in De Soto, Louisiana.

Each compressor station installed one(1) T-130 turbomachinery package with full enclosure (turbine & compressor) which includes the turbine air inlet and exhaust system, enclosure vent system, lube oil cooler, as well as the seal gas recovery (SGR) system.

In addition to the turbomachinery package, Williams utilized Solar Turbine’s Open Ground Modular (OGM) design for the compressor station which includes the engineering and provision of major process valves, station inlet separator(s), station discharge gas coolers, fuel gas treating and regulation, seal gas filtration, instrument air package, process interconnecting piping, structural supports for air inlet/exhaust ducting for the turbine enclosure, a Local Electrical Room (LER) and one (1) 1MW natural gas backup generator.
